I am an associate professor in the Digital Security (DS) group and a member of PI.lab. I joined the institute for Computing and Information Sciences (iCIS) at the Radboud University in August 2009. I am also affiliated to the COSIC group at K.U.Leuven.
|I got my Ph.D. in 2005 from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium and my M.Sc. degree from the University of Zagreb Croatia (1995). I have also studied at the Technische Universiteit Eindhoven, TU/e (Mathematics for industry, PDEng in 2001) and worked as a cryptographer for SafeNet B.V. (2001-2003). From 2006-2009 I was a postdoctoral researcher at COSIC.|
|I was general co-chair of CHES 2012 together with Ingrid Verbauwhede (IACR's flagship workshop on cryptographic hardware) and the general chair of RFIDSec (for editions of 2009 and 2012). I was a program co-chair (together with Matt Robshaw) for CHES 2014 in Busan, Korea.|
My research interests are mainly in applied cryptography and hardware security.
