Regular Students

If you intend to come to Nijmegen for a year or more, you might want to become a regular student. You then will follow the courses according to our curriculum, and if you follow these succesfully you can get a Dutch diploma.

For most formal matters like application to a university, recognition of your dutch diplomas in other countries, applying for dutch grants or restitution of the college fees you will have to correspond with the IB group. The only way to contact them is by phone, mail or email. On their site you can also order information and application forms. Look for a link to the kiosk. If you want (human) help you should contact Dienst Studenten Zaken. They also provide more information on the admission procedure. Another useful source of infomation aboout visas, living in the Netherlands, etcetera is the site of Nuffic, the Dutch Organization for International Cooperation in Higher Education

Foreign students who intend to study in Nijmegen will have to learn Dutch. Courses in the Dutch language are offered by the Language Center of our university. Finding proper housing in Nijmegen is not that easy, therefore it is probably the easiest to contact the university Student Accommodation Nijmegen, but you can also find offers for rooms (kamers) in the university news paper KUNieuws or among saturdays rubrieksadvertenties in the local news paper De Gelderlander.

Is there such thing as a Dutch cuisine?
