My research interests are many:
- syntactic methods, two-level grammars, affix grammars
- parsing techniques and grammar transformations
- compiler construction, translation and transduction
- programming languages, algorithmic languages, programming concepts
- software engineering, modularity, portability, openendedness
- continuation-based parsing and searching
- natural language parsing, natural language processing, syntactic
description of natural languages
- probabilistic parsing, automatic OCR correction
- information retrieval, document routing, text classification.
