Short Curriculum VitaePerry Groot received his masters degree in Computerscience and Mathematics at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam (1998). He also received his Ph.D. degree at the Vrije Universiteit in Artificial Intelligence (2004).
Since 1 November 2004, Perry is a researcher at the
Nijmegen Institute for Computing and Information
Sciences at the Radboud University in Nijmegen. Perry started as a intermediary to establish a new shared
research theme called the "Nijmegen Health Care Computing Initiative". Since 1 November 2007, Perry joined the HearClip project lead by Tom Heskes. Current research topics include the use of Partially Observable Markov Decision Processes (POMDPs) and Gaussian Processes for Bayesian preference elicitation in the personalisation of hearing aids. On June 1 2011, Perry joined the Model Based System Developments group on the OCTOPUS project. On August 15 2011 Perry started as studentadvisor computer science. |
