Beamer (LaTeX)

LaTeX Beamer package

The LaTeX Beamer package provides a LaTeX class for creating slides for presentations as well as a number of different styles to use. It supports both pdfLaTeX and LaTeX + dvips. The name is taken from the German word Beamer, a pseudo-anglicism for video projector.

Radboud University style

Although the styles provided by the package are very good on there own, they do not provide any branding. Therefore I developed a LaTeX style file which adds some Radboud University characteristics to the slides. In my talks section you can find various presentations using this style.

To use this style download the archive and unpack it in the same folder as the LaTeX source file of your presentation. Next add a new line to the header of your document stating: \usepackage{ru}. Compile using pdfLaTeX or LaTeX + dvips and your slides should now use the Radboud University style. When you start from scratch you can use the example.tex file to start with.

An adaption, as shown below, of my original theme was made by Martijn Sprengers. To use this theme you can download the adapted archive and follow the same instructions as before.

Eindhoven University of Technology style

The Radboud University style is based on the Eindhoven University of Technology style I obtained while I studied at this university. To use this original style download the archive and unpack it in the same folder as the LaTeX source file of your presentation. Next add a new line to the header of your document stating: \usepackage{tue}. Compile using pdfLaTeX or LaTeX + dvips and your slides should now use the Eindhoven University of Technology style. When you start from scratch you can use the example.tex file to start with.
