Biography
Until early 2019, Michael was a PhD candidate at the Radboud University of Nijmegen, under the Digital Security group of the Institute for Computing and Information Sciences and was supervised by Jaap-Henk Hoepman. He undertook some administrative and web development duties for the International Summerschool on Privacy. His area of interest is Privacy by Design and in particular the process of embedding data protection into real-world implementations from the beginning of the development process. His focus has been in privacy design patterns, pattern systems, and pattern language. He worked with a multidisciplinary team to construct a living best-practice repository for adherence to the General Data Protection Regulation's Data Protection Principles.
