This is an alternative access method to the METIS database for non-Windows users.
Windows users, please use the original page. Modifications by Ronny Wichers Schreur, based on contributions by Martijn Oostdijk. :

There are three modules in METIS for which authorization is required.
These modules are explained below :

Data entry & Control
A module meant for the organizational units using Metis (faculties, departments, research institutes
or groups), to enter and update their research information in the system.
Obviously a user-id and password is required to use this module.

Management information
An instrument for research managers, administrators and all those involved in research monitoring.
This module allows them to produce the necessary overviews and tables regarding the
in- and output of research, the contributions of the participating units and researchers etc...

Personal METIS
Perhaps one of the most interesting modules of the system, since it allows individual researchers to directly publish and communicate information on their research and publications on the World Wide Web. One can hardly exaggerate the importance and significance of this module : imagine for instance the researcher participating in an international conference abroad, being able to directly present his/her research to his/her peers whenever a computer linked to the Internet is available. Just as for the other two modules mentioned, authorization is required.
